Sanctuary

This piece re-envisions the female form as a sacred, blooming landscape. The uterus is rendered as a luminous, five-petaled flower in violet, a symbol of profound creative power and cyclical renewal. Butterflies—universal metaphors for transformation and delicate beauty—gracefully embody the cervix and vagina, suggesting both vulnerability and resilience. The entire structure is intertwined with soft, climbing vines in hues of blush and lilac, representing interconnected life and organic growth. This work culminates my journey in psychology and gender studies, translating clinical anatomy into a celebration of feminine strength, asserting that the female body is not a subject of taboo, but a testament to natural elegance and potent life force.
